Consumers are living more mindful, healthier lives. But research shows that our diets could stand to improve. In the future, we will be eating healthier, more consciously sourced foods to achieve a healthier lifestyle. But you have to start them young. That’s why supermarkets need to update their vision, because children are the consumers of the future.
My concept consists of a workshop room for Dutch supermarket chain Albert Heijn whose purpose is twofold. First, giving parents a fifteen-to-twenty-minute span to shop for groceries in peace. Second, using this time to teach workshops to children, introducing them to healthy products that they can use to cook good food with.
