Covid-19 has confronted us with an increase in negative emotions. Research has shown that we’re too inactive and are struggling to deal with negative emotions in an efficient way, making it harder to lead a happy life. Remarkably, the solution to this issue is focused exclusively on physical attributes. As important as the physical aspect is, it alone can’t provide a universal panacea.
My solution is an awareness campaign to help decrease the stigma on negative emotions among young people aged 28 to 45, who feel their process of self-growth would benefit from a new way of processing those emotions. I am realising this through a collaboration between Dutch department store chain Bijenkorf and NedKAD.
