Online identities on social media don’t just inform our beauty standards, they also set the expectations about what an event should look like. Research has shown that the styling of a celebration at home is held in higher regard. More than the generations before them, millennials, are realising the importance of friendship and family. That’s why instead of celebrating in large groups, they prefer to be together with a smaller, intimate group.
The platform “Intimate Celebrations” is an easy and bulletproof way for millennials to put together their own celebrations. It inspires the organisation of creative, environmentally-friendly events at home. The four different themes offered to consumers are unique and inspired by current trends in interior design, lifestyle and fashion.
