The Dazed Don’t Dive

My eternal search for the sublime sense of life has led to the question: are we still able to take a deep dive like this today?

Due to the abundance of stimuli and information, we have become increasingly distant from our feelings.

This film installation shows the importance of the relationship between what we perceive, how we process it and how we give meaning to what we consume. The cinematic triptych consists of: “our body and the space around it”, “our body as our space” and “our body and the space within”. By emphasising the importance of the relationship and the balance between the three, I hope to create awareness in perception and stir up a subconscious.

By reconnecting with our inner world, we can begin to care more about our outer world.
