GROW SLOW

GROW SLOW is a calendar made for Natuurmonumenten that will be available via the website from the end of 2022.

My love for plants and flowers was born in my grandmother's flower garden and has developed further as I grew older. Moreover, I have become more aware of their beneficial effects. Especially in today's rushed society where people succumb to the constant pressure of work and conform to the clock, it is important to live more according to the rhythm of nature.

The calendar is inspired by the Japanese variant that consists of 72 micro-seasons (5 days each). The calendar creates more awareness of the small changes in nature and makes people reflect on what is happening around them. This helps people de-stress and live in the 'now'.
